Film fans love standing where their favorite scenes were shot, but that trivia is scattered across wikis and blog posts.
Reel Scout maps real filming locations across NYC, Los Angeles, and Albuquerque so you can explore them visually and search by movie or neighborhood.
02 · The build
A Next.js app rendering an interactive Mapbox GL map with a dark theme, plotting curated locations tagged with the scenes and films shot there.
Search spans movie titles, place names, and neighborhoods; the location data carries scene descriptions and film counts, surfaced in detail cards on a mobile-first layout.
03 · Outcome
A map-based explorer of filming locations across three cities — live at 04-reel-scout.vercel.app.
